DONG-I marine transmissions

Since 2004 Diesel Engines Online BV is the exclusive distributor in the Dong-I marine transmissions for the Benelux and Germany.

The Dong-I gearboxes are developed in South Korea, originally for use in commercial vessels, but can also be perfectly used in pleasure crafts. Dong-I Industrial has more than 15 years experience on the Asian market. Since the introduction of this gearbox by Diesel Engines Online BV in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in 2004, this reliable gearboxes has proven itselve in Europe as well.

This hydraulic gearboxes can be supplied for ships from 40 hp upto 1300 hp in different reduction ratios. There are also models available with a Power Take Off unit "mounted on the transmission itself. In Asia, the Dong-I Marine Transmissions are already used by many engines manufacturers and distributors as standard with their engines. Next to reliability, space saving is one of the principles involved in the design of gearboxes and it fits almost any link in the machineroom. The gearboxes are provided, including bellhousing, flexible gear wheel adapter, oilcooler with anode, oil pressure gauge, morse cable support, installation support plates and counter-flange to the propellershaft. Optionally we can supply the gearbox with PTO, trolling valve, front / astern indication signal, oil pressure and temperature alarms. The Trolling valve allows low-speed boating and still maintain a good control over the helm.

Dong-I P.T.O. unit

Besides gearboxes Dong-I Industrial also has a PTO unit developed. This unit has two, independently selectable PTO. The P.T.O. can be mounted at the front of the engine (on the vibration damper) and the back of the engine (at the flywheel) fitted.
